Other women are envious of trad wives because these women are ruining their own lives by tearing it down with their own hands and they are ok with seeing other women do the same thing but seeing a woman actually submitting to a life of discipline and doing “what they are supposed to be doing” and seeming to be happy and thriving shames them. And our generation translates shame quickly into hatred
You’ve also inspired me. I’m going to start doing short podcasts, as hearing your voice, I definitely feel much more like I “know” you, even more than reading.
Feel like I can definitely relate to getting irritated when my children interrupt me listening to a podcast to tell me about something they did or ask a question and then I realize wow my job is THEM not this podcast
I love what you share, it's almost as if you are in my brain! Thank you for sharing all that you do! I started my journey to bringing the family table back when I read Holy Hygge a few years ago. It was home changing. I agree wholeheartedly with your mission, thank you for putting it out in the world!
I can also relate to being irritated when my daughter wound interrupt me while I was trying to read the newspaper back in the 80’s. That was our social media. Until God pricked my heart and helped me realize my children were more important. God bless you for being so open and honest.
